i like the idea of having a virtual pinboard to collect nice pics and thoughts. when i was little i would spend hours and hours cutting pics i liked from newspapers and magazines. the 21th century way is much more convenient, however.

Mwahaha! This photo is hilarious! I saw it yesterday night in an exhibition of bachelor thesis works in visual communication, it was part of a collection of pictures on gender codes. The girl who did it, Nicole Haller, collected photos that illustrate how the depiction of women and men in the media follows certain norms and finally did her own media campaign to sensitize people for gender issues. I wish I could give you a link here, but I couldn’t find her work in the internet. However, check out David Hurn’s page on Magnum by clicking through the photo.
